Take a sneak peek into our day-to-day journey
Arrive in Chandigarh
With excitement and energy abound, we arrive in Chandigarh, the neatly planned capital of Punjab. After a mandatory evening briefing and getting acquainted with our machines and our tour buddies, we’ll enjoy an early dinner to prepare for the thrilling days ahead.

Chandigarh to Narkanda
Today, we embark on a mesmerizing ride from Chandigarh to Narkanda, passing through the enchanting Chail Wildlife Sanctuary. This scenic journey of approximately 5 hours will take us to the charming town of Narkanda in the Shimla district.

Narkanda to Chitkul
Venture along the rugged roads from Narkanda to Chitkul, covering a distance of 180 km. Experience the thrill of the journey as you soak in the beauty of the surroundings.

Chitkul to Kalpa
Witness the stunning beauty of Chitkul, the last village of India at the Tibetan border. Breathe in the cleanest air in the country while admiring the free-flowing Baspa River. After a hearty lunch, we make our way to Kalpa, a gateway between the lower and upper Kinnaur ranges famous for its heavenly sweet apples, and immerse ourselves in its tranquility.

Kalpa to Kaza
After a delicious breakfast, we will continue our ascent through Kinnaur, witnessing a remarkable change in landscape — from green to arid beauty. Along the way, we’ll marvel at the confluence of the Sutlej and Spiti rivers at Khab and explore ancient treasures like the Gue village and Tabo monastery. Our journey today will end at Kaza, where we can unwind and enjoy the sunset.

Kaza – Exploration Day
Spend a day exploring the largest township in Spiti District, Kaza. Delve into the local market, interact with the friendly residents, and visit notable attractions like the highest post office in the world, and Langza village. Don’t miss the awe-inspiring Kye Monastery perched on a hill with magnificent views.

Kaza – Chandratal
Today promises to be one of the most thrilling days of the entire tour. We’ll start our journey early from Kaza and make our way to the iconic Chicham Bridge – an engineering marvel perched high in the heart of Spiti Valley. From there, we ascend to Kunzum Pass, the highest mountain pass in the region, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.
Our adventure continues with a detour towards Chandratal, famously known as the Moon Lake. The 50 km stretch to the lake is not for the faint-hearted; with no defined roads, it’s a raw and rugged route that rewards us with the surreal beauty of one of the most spectacular glacial lakes in the Himalayas.
We’ll cap off this incredible day by camping under a blanket of stars, right near the shimmering waters of Chandratal — a truly unforgettable experience.

Chandratal to Manali
We begin our day by leaving our campsite near Chandratal, heading into the most adventurous leg of the journey. This stretch takes us through rugged terrains and wild river crossings, truly testing our riding skills and spirit of adventure.
Covering approximately 150 kilometers, this thrilling roller-coaster ride culminates as we pass through the iconic Atal Tunnel – a remarkable feat of engineering that connects the remote Spiti region to the bustling town of Manali.
After days of raw nature and remote landscapes, Manali greets us with the comforts of civilization, a warm bed, and a well-deserved feast. It’s the perfect place to unwind, reflect on the journey, and celebrate the incredible adventure we’ve just completed.

Rest Day at Manali

Manali to Chandigarh
As our adventure nears its end, we descend from the mountains to the plains, making our way back to Chandigarh. Over our last dinner on this tour, we’ll reflect on the unforgettable experiences we’ve shared during this remarkable journey.
