Arrive in Siliguri

Your adventure begins in Siliguri, where you’ll be surrounded by the buzz of anticipation. Our experienced tour lead will brief you about the ride you have ahead of you. The day ends with a hearty dinner that’s a delicious prelude of the epic days to come.

Siliguri to Phuentsholing

With the morning sun as our companion, we ride along the contours of the Teesta River and over Coronation Bridge, and begin our ascent into the foothills of the mighty Himalayas. By noon, we reach the tranquil Phuentsholing and clear our entry permits. This serene and quaint town, where we rest and recharge, is just a sneak peek into the tranquility of Bhutan.

Phuentsholing to Paro

Gear up for an early morning, as we plunge wheels-first into the mountainous terrain en route to Gedu. Picture this: winding roads that guide you through valleys so green they seem like nature’s own masterpiece. It’s no surprise that each twist and turn could take your breath away. As the day gives way to the night, we make our entry into Paro, a town that will envelop you in its embrace.

Rest day in Paro

Get ready to lace up those hiking boots because this day includes an exhilarating trek to Tiger Hill. It’s a three-hour climb that’s not for the faint-hearted – but trust us, the rewards are more than worth it. Balanced precariously on a cliff’s edge, Tiger Hill Monastery boasts views that redefine the term “breathtaking”.

And what’s a day in Bhutan without indulging in some local flavors? We wrap up this incredible day with a scrumptious Bhutanese dinner. From conquering heights to savouring flavours, this day in Paro is a tapestry of unforgettable experiences.

Paro to Punakha

The journey to Punakha isn’t just a ride, it’s a dance with twists and turns that wind through the stunning landscape. And then comes the pièce de résistance – Dochu La, a mountain pass that is adorned with 108 memorial chortens or stupas known as Druk Wangyal Chortens. After a nice and warm coffee break, we make our way to the old capital of Bhutan where the picturesque Punakha Dzong awaits.

Punakha to Phobjikha

Today, our wheels take us into the mesmerizing Phobjikha Valley. This isn’t just any town; it’s a haven shielded by guardians of culture and tradition. The first sighting of the valley will be etched into your memory, a snapshot of wonder that words will always struggle to capture.

But that’s not all. Our journey leads us to the ancient Gangtey Monastery, a must-do experience. As the sun dips below the horizon, the valley transforms, and you’ll find yourself mesmerised amidst the vibrant shades that paint this landscape.

Phobjikha to Thimphu

Today, we reluctantly say goodbye to the magical land of Phobjikha. But wait, there’s still come magic left in the journey! Before we head back, a remarkable stop beckons – Thimphu, a city that’s as vibrant as it is rich in culture. The day is yours to stroll along its streets and pay a visit to one of the region’s towering gems – a colossal Buddha statue that exudes serenity. But that’s not all. Thimphu’s streets are a treasure trove of souvenirs, a chance to take a piece of Bhutan’s magic back home with you.

Thimphu to Phuentsholing

It’s time to get back on your bikes, but this time leading us to the border town where our last night in this incredible land awaits. As we ride, soak it all in – the landscape, the laughter, the spirit of Bhutan that has embraced us. Tomorrow we cross the threshold back to India, but for now, let’s be present in this moment, in this place that has woven itself into our journey and our hearts.

Phuentsholing to Siliguri

Our wheels trace a familiar path back to Siliguri. With the bikes soon to be shipped back, there’s a sense of closure and accomplishment. The day concludes with a group dinner – a gathering of those who started as strangers and now part as friends. Laughter, tales, and memories intertwine, a testament to the bond forged on this unforgettable ride.

Depart from Siliguri

With a mixture of gratitude and fondness, we bid our final farewells. The journey that painted our days with wonder and camaraderie now gracefully concludes. It’s time to board our flights, but the memories and connections we’ve gained in Bhutan will journey with us back home.
