Arrive in Ajaccio
Welcome to Corsica. Your adventure begins in Ajaccio, the island’s vibrant coastal capital and the perfect gateway to the incredible roads ahead. Upon arrival, we’ll meet for an introductory briefing before collecting the motorcycles and heading out for a short warm-up ride to get acquainted with the bikes and the stunning Corsican scenery. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with the group as we prepare for the unforgettable journey that lies ahead.
Ajaccio to Alghero
Today we ride south from Ajaccio along Corsica’s beautiful coastal roads, enjoying around 130 km of flowing bends, mountain scenery, and spectacular Mediterranean views as we make our way toward the southern tip of the island. Around midday, we board the ferry to Sardinia, taking in the sea breeze and coastal panoramas during the crossing. On Sardinian soil, the pace changes slightly as we cover a faster 140 km stretch across the island toward the west coast. Arriving in Alghero by the afternoon, there is plenty of time to explore this lively seaside town, wander through its charming old streets, or simply relax by the waterfront and soak in the atmosphere.
Alghero to Ogliastra Hills
Leaving Alghero behind, we begin the day with a spectacular coastal ride toward the colourful seaside town of Bosa, following one of Sardinia’s most scenic stretches of road with endless curves and sweeping sea views. Continuing inland, we visit the fascinating Nuraghe Losa, one of the island’s best-preserved ancient Nuragic sites, offering a glimpse into Sardinia’s mysterious prehistoric past.
Around lunchtime, we stop near Sorgono for a traditional farm lunch, enjoying authentic local flavours and Sardinian hospitality. In the afternoon, the route becomes even more rewarding as we ride through the winding roads and rolling hills of central Sardinia toward the Nurri region in the south.
Ogliastra Hills to Gennargentu NP
Today’s ride takes us deep into the rugged heart of Sardinia as we tackle the spectacular mountain roads of the Gennargentu region. Endless curves, dramatic landscapes, and quiet highland scenery make this one of the most rewarding riding days of the tour.
Along the way, we visit the famous town of Orgosolo, known for its striking murals that cover the walls of the village and tell stories of Sardinian culture, politics, and history. Surrounded by mountains and traditional villages, today offers a true taste of Sardinia’s wild and authentic interior.
Exploration Day at Gennargentu NP
Today is all about the ride. We take on a spectacular loop through the heart of the Gennargentu region, including the legendary SS125 — one of the finest motorcycle roads in Europe. Endless flowing corners, mountain scenery, and quiet village roads make this a true rider’s paradise.
The route winds through traditional mountain villages before descending toward the coast for a relaxed seaside lunch. With around 150 km of incredible riding, today delivers the perfect balance of twisty roads, stunning scenery, and time to fully enjoy the experience — a true highlight of the tour.
Gennargentu NP to Bonifacio
Today we enjoy a few final Sardinian riding highlights as we make our way north toward Corsica. The route includes the superb SS389 between Nuoro and Bitti, one of the island’s great riding roads with endless curves and beautiful mountain scenery. If time allows, we may also cross the dramatic Monte Albo pass before continuing toward the coast.
After around 220–270 km of rewarding riding, we reach Santa Teresa Gallura in time for a late afternoon ferry crossing back to Corsica, ideally around 4 or 5 pm. Arriving in Bonifacio by evening, we can relax and enjoy the atmosphere of this stunning harbour town ahead of tomorrow’s rest day.
Bonifacio Rest Day
Today is yours to enjoy at a slower pace in the beautiful harbour town of Bonifacio. Relax and explore the historic old town, wander through its narrow streets and dramatic cliffside viewpoints, or simply enjoy the cafés and waterfront atmosphere.
For those looking for adventure, there are optional boat trips to the stunning Lavezzi Islands, scenic coastal hikes, or rides out to the island’s remote lighthouses and sand dunes. Whether you choose to relax or explore, Bonifacio is the perfect place to recharge before the next stage of the journey.
Bonifacio to Cap Corse
Today is one of the biggest and most spectacular riding days of the tour. Leaving Bonifacio behind, we head deep into Corsica’s rugged interior, following tight mountain roads, old passes, and incredibly scenic routes through some of the island’s wildest landscapes.
The ride takes us through Zonza and across numerous mountain passes before passing near the historic town of Corte in the heart of Corsica. Endless curves, dramatic scenery, and constantly changing terrain make this a true rider’s day.
By evening, we arrive in Saint-Florent, a beautiful harbour town at the gateway to Cap Corse, where a relaxed evening awaits after an unforgettable day covering around 275 km.
Cap Corse to Ajaccio
Today we continue through Corsica’s spectacular mountain and coastal roads on another unforgettable riding day. The route winds along dramatic cliffs, through remote villages, and across endless twists and turns, delivering a true Corsican rollercoaster ride from start to finish.
With around 220 km to cover, the pace is relaxed enough to fully enjoy the scenery and the roads before arriving back in Ajaccio for the evening.
Departure from Ajaccio
With heavy hearts (and maybe sore muscles!), we say goodbye to Ajaccio. But trust us, the memories of this epic adventure will last a lifetime!
