Ride through a land of Indian royalty and heritage
From Udaipur’s lakes and the desert allure of Jodhpur to the regal charm of Jaipur, this royal odyssey through Rajasthan is one you will never forget.
We have a royal adventure waiting for you every day on our Rajasthan Tour.
Take a sneak peek into our day-to-day journey
Arrive in New Delhi; Transfer to Neemrana
Our team will greet you at New Delhi International Airport and get you and your luggage to Neemrana about 120kms away. This ancient town used to be the seat of power of the Chauhan Rajputs, that is now a heritage getaway. Your encounter with royalty and your mighty beasts happens today.
Neemrana to Jaipur
We have a short ride to Jaipur planned for the day, which will get you acquainted with your motorcycles and Indian roads. After a traditional lunch, a guided city tour will get your familiar with India’s first planned city and its regal palaces, magnificent temples, and ancient forts. Find out why Jaipur is called the Pink City, and why it attracts visitors from around the world.
Jaipur to Udaipur
We’ll take the National Highway from Jaipur to Udaipur, and you’ll find the contrast between the hustle and bustle of Jaipur and the peace and serenity of Udaipur. There are about 7 hours of riding planned for the day, which will get you to the charming city of Udaipur by early evening. With its royal charm, age-old architecture, pleasant weather, and breathtaking beauty, it’s hard not to fall in love with Udaipur.
Exploration Day at Udaipur
First, we’ll take a step back in time with a visit to the City Palace, located on the banks of Lake Pichola. Boasting of a blend of medieval, European, and Chinese architecture, the palace is known as one of the architectural marvels of Rajasthan. As you meander through its courtyards and pavilions, the expansive view of the shimmering waters of Lake Pichola will leave you spellbound. If the palace doesn’t give you a sense of the grandeur of the royal life, a visit to the vintage car museum surely will. Owned by Indian royalty, the museum houses 20 antique cars, one of which escorted the late Queen Elizabeth to the airport in 1961.
The rest of the day is for you to explore the city and shop for local handicrafts, folk art, traditional clothes, and souvenirs.
Udaipur to Kumbhalgarh
While we bid adieu to the City of Lakes, we’ll leisurely make our way about 80-90kms up north to Kumbhalgarh, home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of a legendary king. After lunch, we’ll make our way to Kumbhalgarh Fort, renowned for its long, serpentine wall stretching 36kms, which gives it its nickname – the “Great Wall of India.” It is home to several palaces, temples and gardens – all perched at an elevation of 1,100 meters above sea level.
Kumbhalgarh to Jodhpur
Today, we set out on a long and exhilarating journey further north, with the vibrant city of Jodhpur as our ultimate. Halfway through our ride, we make an interesting stop in Pali district. Here, an extraordinary experience awaits us – a visit to the world’s one and only motorcycle temple, a shrine devoted to the revered ‘Bullet Baba’, where many travellers stop by to pay respect to a 350cc Bullet motorcycle. Then, we continue our ride to the ‘Blue City’ of Jodhpur, enjoy the scenic beauty and the open road.
Exploration Day at Jodhpur
You’re free to explore the captivating city of Jodhpur, but that’s after we take you on a tour of the majestic Jodhpur Fort. As you ascend its ancient walls, you’ll be transported back in time, discovering the incredible stories that have unfolded within these towering ramparts. Then you’re free to explore the enchanting alleys, where every corner reveals a piece of history and a splash of azure. Before the day ends, you will savour an authentic Rajasthani meal, a culinary journey that will leave your taste buds tingling with the rich, spicy, and aromatic delights of this vibrant region.
Jodhpur to Khimsar
We’ll bid farewell to the blue city of Jodhpur and head towards the mystical desert landscapes of Khimsar. With a bit of luck and perfect timing, we’ll witness the golden sun sinking into the horizon, casting an enchanting glow over the endless sand dunes. We’ll spend the night in cozy tents, right in the heart of the desert. Surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the dunes, you’ll be able to gaze up and get lost in the starry desert sky.
Khimsar to Mandawa
The ride continues, and this time we ride about 240kms to the picturesque town of Mandawa. This town is renowned for its splendid alfresco architecture and captivating frescoes that adorn the facades of its traditional havelis (mansions), that were created by artists hailing from France and Italy. As you explore the town, you’ll find yourself surrounded by these magnificent masterpieces that tell tales of a rich and artistic heritage.
Mandawa to Jaipur;
Transfer to New Delhi Airport (optional)
On the final day of our incredible Rajasthan adventure, we’ll ride back to where it all began – the vibrant city of Jaipur. As our epic ride comes to a close, we’ll bid fond farewells to our fellow riders and the trusty motorcycles that have been our companions throughout this unforgettable journey. But before we part ways, we have a world of possibilities for you to explore. You can opt to transfer to New Delhi Airport or dive deeper into the magic of India with our spectacular add-on packages.
